When I heard the song “Take me as I am” I cried. It was just how I was feeling. It was like an affirmation. Like God understood my pain.I’m out of the black I was in then, but I still can’t part with the cd.
I absolutely agree with you. A God-incident certainly doesn’t have to be something extraordinary to the mass majority. It can be as simple as a song. I think the important thing to learn here is that you knew to “listen” so you didn’t miss your experience. I believe God speaks to us often, we just have to have the forsight to listen. Thanks for sharing this experience.
I love those times when God will leave a little trace of Love for us to “happen upon”. Those beautiful little love notes, left around to let us know He has us on His mind.
